Website Review: chronicfatiguetreatments.com

While searching the Internet for information on fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, I stumbled across the website chronicfatiguetreatments.com.
This website consists primarily of a message board for chronic fatigue syndrome and a chronic fatigue blog
. The message board seems new with only 157 users (at the time of this review) but does seem to have some interesting information and discussions regarding chronic fatigue treatments. There are forums for personal stories, prescription drugs, vitamins, research, and symptoms to name a few.
The blog has more of a magazine feel with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue articles. The blog appears to be updated approximately twice a month.
The message boards have a more personal feel, while the blog reads more “newsy” and is more informative. Many people hear the word blog and are expecting personal journal type entries, while I found this to be written as articles. Both section are user friendly and easy to navigate.
The only thing I wish this site had was more information about the author or owners of the site. Not only would that be interesting to read, but also it might put a more personal face on the site. If this page was on the site, at the time of visiting I could not easily find it.
Overall I would recommend anyone to check out this site while searching for information about his or her condition. As always I strongly suggest that no treatment should be undertaken without the supervision of a physician.
