I am playing a bit of catch up updating all of you on my summer adventures!

Hi Everyone,

I know it may seem like I am posting video, radio, pictures and blog posts from events that happened a bit ago. I have had such a busy summer, some great and some not so great events but all learning experiences that helped me grow. So now that things are a bit calmer, I am taking time to update you- the readers on some of my summer adventures. Consider this my “what I did this summer” homework assignment update! 🙂

It is only July, and I plan on doing more exciting things, but for now I wanna catch up and keep all of our readers in the loop!

Hope you all are having a great day!
-Christine

    Christine~
I have been an avid admirer and very thankful as well as prayerful subject of yours. When I first read your Spoon Theory I printed off like eight copies and passed them out to my parents, husband, son, daughter, son-in-law & daughter-in-law. Then I just stood there with tears in my eyes because someone was finally able to put into words what I had been going through for six years straight. That was July, 2009 and at that point I had been living with Multiple Sclerosis for 25 years but MS had only been gaining some serious ground for eight years and my family wasn’t having it. They expected Mom to do like she always had – take some meds. & shake it off. Well, MS had a firm hold and brought some friends with it like Fibromyalgia, then Chronic Bronchitis, Proteinemia, and before I knew it – Pulmonary Embolisms.
My MS is not numbing it is electrical, so instead of losing sensation I am constantly tingling or at its worst like electric shock up & down my spine making my limbs shaky and my speech & breathing ragged.
If you saw me you would never know because I am very, very grateful to be still walking. The doctors told me September 16, 1984, the day I was diagnosed, that I would be in a wheelchair by my 45th birthday. On June 20th I celebrated my 51st birthday with my precious granddaughter, Bianca Bella who was celebrating her 4th birthday.
I thank God everyday for what I’m able to do and for the Spoon Theory on those days when I’m short on spoons I can pass out the Theory, smile & keep on moving.

    God Bless You Christine
