Product Review: The Bookchair

During my most recent hospital visit, I was bored out of my mind. I wanted to read magazines or books, but soon realized that I couldn’t hold the book up high or steady enough to read comfortably. This was especially difficult
while I was lying down in bed or resting in a chair.

I found an easy solution called the bookchair. It is a beautifully made wooden book holder. The construction is from rubber tree wood and the holder is 100% cotton canvas, available in: black, blue, cream, white, hunter green, and red. It is very lightweight (the medium is 9oz.), portable and easy to set up. Bookchairs come in a variety of sizes from mini to big.
Although I used mine due to being confined to a bed or chair, I can easily see how this can be a useful item for anyone. It would be great for holding cookbooks in the kitchen, holding up papers as you type, or even making a
“workstation” at your kitchen table etc.
Sometimes, it is simple “helpers’ like this that make life a little easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
