Book Review: Undead and Unwed by: Mary Janice Davidson

We’ve all been faced with jobs we don’t want. For Betsy Taylor, it’s being queen of the dead. Of course, she doesn’t learn this until she is hit by a car on her 30th birthday (as if that wasn’t bad enough) and discovers no matter what she does she can’t stay dead.

Being newly dead brings it’s own problems. Will friends and family accept me? How am I gonna find a job when I pass out the moment the sun rises? Will I ever find love? Throw in an unknown destiny and a legion of vampires who will do what they can to be rid of her, Betsy has her hands full.

The cherry on the top is Sinclair – the know it all vampire who is convinced he is to be her king and consort, despite what Betsy wants. Fortunately, she’s got her best friend Jessica and new sidekick Marc by her side to help her through the chaos of being undead and unwed. So for an empowering and humorous tale, check out Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. If you enjoy it, the tales of Betsy continue in the the Undead series with Undead and Unemployed, Undead and Unappreciated, Undead and Unreturnable, Undead and Unpopular, Undead and Uneasy, Undead and Unworthy, Undead and Unwelcome, Undead and Unfinished and Undead and Undermined which will be released in July 2011.

I love this series and the last one was a jaw dropper. I can’t believe that I actually bought the whole series (so far), that’s how much I love it. How is she going to top ‘Undead and Unfinished’?
