Long Island Business News Honors Christine Miserandino Donato as a “Heathcare Hero”

 

Long Island Business News and Hofstra University have recognized Christine Miserandino Donato for her work on ButYouDontLookSick.com and with the Lupus Alliance of America – Long Island/ Queens affiliate.

Christine Miserandino Donato was honored as a finalist with the “Volunteer Hero” award which is issued through the ʺHealthcare Heroes Awardsʺ program. Honorees were nominated by the healthcare community; winners and finalists were selected by a distinguished panel of judges.

The goal of the annual program is to recognize excellence, promote innovation, and contribute to the enhancement of the value and quality of health care. The award program acknowledges the men, women, and organizations whose tireless work, contributions, and dedication to healing and caring ensure the well‐being of everyone on Long Island.

Awardees are highlighted in a special event section that will be found inserted into the 23 October issue of Long Island Business News. Winners and finalists were honored at our annual award breakfast held Thursday, 22 October at The Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury.
