  • I spent too much energy over Christmas! (I bet I’m not the only one.) Happy Christmas, and if you did too much and are paying the price now, I hope you had fun! (I sure did!)

Happy holidays to all of my fellow spoonies! I hope to speak with everyone real soon. Thank you Christine for giving us this outlet. Much love to you all.

  • Lauren (Lorna Doone)

Merry christmas to you and all of my fellow spoonies. I’m sure everyone is as excited as I am to get the boards back soon. thank you Christine for this outlet! Much love to you all.

I find myself giving out this url all the time, too, and sometimes in the funniest places. Lately, it’s been at church, a lot. So while I am usually spreading the word about my religious beliefs elsewhere, I have been sharing a website that deals with my medical conditions at my church. This has seemed quite backwards to me in many ways, but has helped several people in a lot of ways. And I know it helped one dear friend have the ability to say, “I just don’t have the spoons to make it to church, today. I hope I can make it next week,” without as much guilt. Let’s face it, we have enough stress without adding guilt about feeling sick, too.

    Christine:
Your website has been truly an inspiration and the Spoons Theory has been great to share with others. I belong to a breast cancer website and a LEMS (Lambert Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome) website on Yahoo groups. I have shared this website with others on those two websites as well as other friends. Truly you are blessed with special talent for writing. Thanks for your insight, humor and compassion.
I keep you in my prayers each day.

  • Merry Christmas Eve to everyone at BYDLS, and I hope the fat man comes and brings you… days of energy and strength, fewer symptoms, less stress and everyone around honors the season by being a bit nicer to each other. That’s the real spirit of the season — being gentle and generous.
Have a good day with a lot of spoons. I hope Santa brings you the whole sack of spoons.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, to all at BYDLS! You have made this year a blessing for me with your wit and wisdom. thank you from the bottom of my heart!

  • Merry CHRISTMAS to you! That’s what December 25 is all about!

    Happy Xmas to everyone.
Thank you Christine again for wonderful Spoon Theory. It really helps me explain how I feel and now my friends ask me how many spoons I have left after a horrible day.
I’m a host on another board and I am constantly giving this board’s addy out and telling them to go and read The Theory and the boards.
So I hope that you had a wonderful Xmas Day.
