National Women’s Equality Day – You Go Girl!

In 1971 the U.S. Congress designated August 26 as “Women’s Equality Day.” The date was selected to commemorate the 1920 passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, granting women the right to vote.

The government finally gave women the right to have their voices heard.  Not only is this pertinent in the political world, it is also important in the “Spoonie” world.  Be proactive to all medical partners you have in your autoimmune support group and make  your voices heard.  Be your own advocate and take control of your health!
