February #GoRed for Woman Director’s Cut of “Just a Little Heart Attack” Video with Elizabeth Banks
So, it is almost the end of February, and I think I am the last person to see this video/ commercial! I wish more awareness compaigns were this memorable. Everyone has been telling me to check out this video by the American Heart Association, Go Red for Woman. It is funny because it is true, which in turn makes it sad. Watch the video, laugh, learn and become more aware.
Starring and directed by Emmy-nominated actress Elizabeth Banks.
“A little film about a super mom who takes care of everyone except herself” — Elizabeth Banks
Go Red For Women celebrates the energy, passion and power we have as women to band together to wipe out heart disease and stroke.
As we work toward that goal, we’re working hard to change the perception that heart disease is a “man’s disease.” And it’s working! By teaching more and more women how to talk to their doctors about heart disease, we can save thousands of lives every year. Because the good news is that heart disease is often preventable!
And in case anyone still believes that heart disease is only a concern for older women, we encourage you to read the Inspiring Stories we’ve collected. Together, they make the case plain and simple: the time for action is now! For more information check out:
